Moving beyond the hot sounds of Brazil into more chillier soundscapes with Seattle duo Blue Sky Black Death and their new album "Glaciers". I haven't pressed play on this one yet, but I can tell you that I have HIGH expectations on this one. I especially want to give it up to the duo for allowing their new tracks to play for around 15 minutes, reminiscent of much of the best jazz fusion from the '70s. Especially with instrumental music, that I like to take me on a mental journey, I believe that it many times is necessary to let the music stretch out and really allow it room to breathe.
