The Making of Common's "Resurrection"

Only a couple of days ago you had Dres speak on "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" and today Complex posts "The Making of Common's Resurrection". Common Sense's second album remains as one of my favorite rap albums of all time as it's such a perfect combination of clever lyricism, soul and spirituality and hypnotizing jazz breaks. In this interview we get the word on the process behind this timeless masterpiece from all the main players involved. Besides Common, there's also producers No I.D. and Twilite Tone giving their side of the story as well as Lonnie "Pops" Lynn, Peter Kang and Derek Dudley. Incredibly informative and I'm telling you that no one is fucking with Complex when it comes to interesting interviews at the moment. While you're at it, make sure to check out the original 1991 Common Sense demo tape, "UnAmerican Caravan", in case you didn't catch it the first time around.
