Two banging videos from some of hip-hop's most celebrated underground artists just hit the net today. First up is a stand-out cut from Raekwon's latest offering "Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang" which has been available for a few months now. Besides two solid verses from the Chef and a bumping Sean C & LV beat it also features a fly verse from none other than NaS. This makes it extra notable for being only the third collaboration between these two monster emcees. While it's not "Verbal Intercourse II" (of course) it works well as a dope follow-up to "Let My Niggas Live" which was released over a decade ago by now. Enjoy this shit!
The second interesting visuals to a fresh new track is Ras Kass's latest street single called "The Line". I'm not entirely sure but I heard somewhere that this will appear as a bonus track on certain copies of Ras' recently released mixtape, "Endangered Lyricist 3". The tape features only previously released material but is worth hearing for anyone feeling to enjoy an hour of great Ras Kass music. Check it out @ HipHopDX.
In related news on both mentioned main emcees, Dilated Peoples frontman Evidence revealed the tracklist to his soon-to-be-released "Cats & Dogs" LP. The tracklist lets us know that the song "The Red Carpet Treament" features guest verses from both Raekwon and Ras Kass together - now correct me if I'm wrong but I think that this is the first time these two have ever appeared together. Other notable songs are for example a joint featuring Prodigy and Roc Marciano and "Where You From" which features Lil' Fame, Termanology and Raakaa Iriscience. The LP will drop in September through RhymeSayers.
